SPPS Python
SPPS Python (ERMOS), developed by CERTI Foundation and supported by Petrobras, was developed based on SPPS v6.0. This software, similar to SPPS, is capable of computing threshold flow stream velocities or production rates and erosion rates. E/CRC received the python version in the beginning 2021 and started to get familiarized with this code and run tests. SPPS Python was made available to E/CRC members in November 2021. E/CRC is now responsible to upgrading ERMOS to the newer versions of SPPS (6.1, 6.2, etc.) in the future. Modification have been done to the user interface file (Parser) to run cases with different output units (e.g., mm/day). Currently, E/CRC is working on upgrading the costuhon program to SPPS v6.2.2.
