Wire-mesh Sensor

Wire-mesh Sensor

A wire-mesh sensor is a type of sensing device that consists of an array or grid of interconnected wires or conductive elements. It is used to detect and measure various physical properties such as pressure, strain, temperature, and gas concentrations. The interaction between the target property and the wire mesh causes changes in the electrical properties of the mesh, such as resistance or capacitance. These changes can then be measured and analyzed to determine the value of the property being sensed. The wire-mesh sensor available for E/CRC projects is acquired from HZDR and it is shown in Figure 10.
