Particle Size Analyzer
A laser particle size analyzer is a scientific instrument used to measure and analyze the size distribution of particles suspended in a liquid or gas. The particle analyzer available for E/CRC projects is acquired from Shimadzu, shown in Figure 9, and operates with particles suspended in gas. It employs a laser beam that interacts with particles, causing them to scatter light. By analyzing the patterns of scattered light at different angles, the instrument can determine the particle sizes present in the sample.
